What is a boudoir photoshoot?
Boudoir is a fancy word that means an empowering Victoria’s Secret style photoshoot for the everyday woman. Our 100% female staff will help you feel confident and look gorgeous.
I’m super nervous - I’ve never done anything like this before!
This is totally normal! You are doing something out of your comfort zone which can always a bit nerve-wracking. But that's part of the fun of a boudoir photoshoot! We will guide you from start to finish!
When will I get to see my photos?
Right after your shoot - before you leave the studio!
Tell us about the photographer?
Jo specializes in boudoir. She loves empowering women! She loves to travel to Charleston frequently with her family and is a huge Iced Coffee lover! She loves sports and trying new food! Her favorite though is Pizza from Bobes.
Will you retouch my acne/ wrinkles/ cellulite?
We do light retouching on all images. We don’t remove things that are permanent unless you ask. We want you to love you!
Will you post my images online?
No. We take your privacy very seriously. Any image posted gave us permission.
I’m a curvy girl - can you still make me look good?
YES! We specialize in creating gorgeous boudoir portraits of all woman.
How far in advance should I schedule my shoot?
Because we specialize in boudoir, our calendar fills up quickly. We recommend coming in for your shoot 4-6 weeks before you need your album. No matter what your timeline is, get in touch - we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests.
What do I need to bring to my shoot? What about waxing, tanning, nails? Can I bring my boyfriend’s football jersey?
Plan to bring at least one lingerie outfit to be photographed in. We also have lots of wardrobe items and props available at the studio to accessorize your outfits, including our client closet. We’ll send you a detailed prep guide before your shoot with everything else you’ll need to know about getting ready.
How much does a boudoir shoot cost?
There is a session fee to book your shoot, which includes hair and makeup and approximately 4 hours at the studio for your photoshoot experience. This is $499. Right after the shoot while you're still at the studio, you'll get to see your photos. We offer luxury boudoir albums, framed wall art, and digital downloads in collections. We will go over all that on our phone consult or through email!
