I’m Jo Thomas, owner & the woman behind the camera. Given the amount of new faces in my business I wanted to take time to introduce myself & allow you into my life.
My business started in 2012 when I was forced to get a minor in my undergraduate degree. Thinking photography would be easy ( I learned in film, jokes on me) this is the direction I choose to go. What a blessing that turned out to be. After graduating with my psychology & photography degree I went on to recieve my masters in social work. After 2 years as a Regional Director in foster care I chose to come back to my love: photography & empowering women.
My life revolves around my family, traveling, building relationships & living in my strengths. I’m married to my best friend Shane & mama to 3 beautiful kiddos I travel 3-4 times a year all over the country, but locally travel every month. I love finding new spaces to eat, photograph & visit.
My passion for branding & boudoir photography stems from my love of empowering women. Aside from photography you will find me sharing my life as a beauty consultant & giving women confidence to be their authentic self. When you come into my studio my goal is for you to leave empowered, full of confidence & breaking down belief barriers. My hope is always you enter as a client & leave as a friend.
